Question of why, how can this be?
Thinking how awful, it could have been me.
People in shock, wherever you roam;
it doesn't seem real, too close to home.
Lists of people, in neighboring towns;
the "cream of the crop," nowhere to be found.

when tragedy hits, not an atheist in sight.
Hearing the news, many hearts broken;
